The Story
The re-designed 1500 series water tight lay-in wireway is a complete system that permits fast and easy installation of multiple wire runs. Each section and accessory include one side completely opened to allow lay-in of wires instead of being restricted to pull through. The wireways are made high quality 14 GA steel complete with bolted flanges. The covers are hinged and several quick release draw pull latches assure a tight closing. A high quality, poured-in-place, seamless gasket is present on the covers. The enhanced flange construction now integrates a gasket embedded directly onto the flange itself. Components are finished with heat fused powder paint, electro-statically applied on a pretreated base. Finish is ANSI/ASA61 smooth gray. CSA Certified / UL Listed NEMA/EEMAC 4-12 / IP66
Made of high quality 304 stainless steel, with continuously welded corner seams. Inside flanges and sealing gaskets are provided. Enclosure and base mounting holes are provided. Wiring can be pulled through the pedestal. Exterior is unpainted with a #4 brushed finish. CSA Certified. UL Listed. NEMA 12, 13. IEC 60529 IP55.
